Words I needed to hear

This past Sunday, our pastor said that there were somethings on his heart. He felt as though he needed to preach them. The church staff prayed about these things prior to the service in hopes that the ones in need would find comfort in today's Word. During the sermon, I felt emotional inside & kept thinking about how God's Word could comfort me (as well as Logan) during this time of miscarriages. I hope this helps others in need whether it's the same situation or another reason.

God is Faithful
1. God is faithful to His promises.
"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments." -Deuteronomy 7:9
"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does." - Psalm 145:13

2. God is faithful in His Word.
"God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?" - Numbers 23:19
"For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does." - Psalm 33:4

3. God is faithful when we are not.
"If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot disown Himself." - 2 Timothy 2:13

4. God is faithful to His calling.
"The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it." - 1 Thessalonians 5:24

5. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7

God shows us a way out through His Word, through others teaching us, & through His conviction (Holy Spirit). I am relying on reading His Word & listening to people with miscarriage experience. Remember, God never leaves you alone during any circumstance. He carries you through good times as well as the bad times. No matter the situation, God is remains faithful.

"God won't protect you through what He can perfect you through." - unknown

"If you're still on this earth, God's purpose for you isn't over." - unknown (This allows me to realize that there is still a plan for our family to grow.)
