Lake had her first dentist appt on Wednesday, Feb. 5th. She was excited about playing in the waiting room & waving at all of the people. This quickly changed when she sat in my lap & the dentist showed her all the equipment. Lake clenched onto my shoulder & sat as close to me as possible. The tears began when the dentist was counting/examining her teeth. Stryker was so concerned about his sister that he stopped playing with the toys to come pat Lake's tummy while saying, "it's okay baby Lake, she's just counting your teeth; see, 1, 2, 3..." Such a sweet brother. The tears were over when she waved bye to everyone & we played with her new toothbrush in the car. Stryker chose Chick-fil-a for lunch before heading to the airport to pick up daddy!
A lot of children are scared of going to the dentist, when it's time to finally sit at the chair. It was good that Stryker was there to comfort Lake during the procedure. I bet you’re really proud of him for supporting her little sister. All in all, it seems like you guys had a lot of fun afterwards. Thanks for sharing this with us, Courtney. Have a great day!
