Wallace cookout
Have free food & they will come...that is Wallace baseball players! They came hungry & ready to eat. Our family hosted a Memorial Day cookout at our new home. Special thanks to my husband for getting house ready while I was at work, Cody for grilling hamburgers & chicken, Loren for keeping Stryker entertained until I got home, & Dean for donating the meat. I rushed home from work to cook desserts. We had a variety of yummy food: hamburgers, chicken, BBQ chips, plain chips, baked beans, Coke, Mountain Dew, Sweet Tea, double fudge brownies, oreo cream pie, chocolate chip cookie ("Wallace Baseball" written in orange/blue icing), & mulitple cheesecakes. Coach Putman (head coach) & his wife came to enjoy the afternoon as well. The boys were well-mannered. Stryker loved being around the guys. After eating, the players enjoyed swimming & throwing the football before returning to the house to watch football. Each player took home a bag full of chicken/hamburgers & desserts. Many of them said, "finally some good food for lunch!" Our door is always open to all you guys.
