And so the days of being sick begin...
It all started Saturday with Stryker spitting up. We initially thought it was his reflux but quickly thought otherwise when it smelled sour. That was the only symptom & went away that night. His head & belly feeling extremely hot along with red ears, red cheeks, & stopped up nose. His temperature was in the 99s Sunday night. We kept giving him Tylenol which did nothing for the temp. The fever rose to 100.5 Monday morning. I took off early from work to meet Coco for yet another doctor's appt for Stryker. The pediatrician was completely shocked that he was not screaming & fussy (he was actually calm & still) b/c he has strep throat & a secondary ear infection. He's such a tough little guy! She prescribed an antibiotic that he takes 2x/day for 10 days. Thank you for family...Coco stayed with Stryker on Monday, grandmomma on Tuesday, Logan Wednesday morning, & me Wednesday afternoon until he could go to daycare on Thursday. I've been taking him strolling & swinging on the porch swing at night when it's cooler. It's now Wednesday night & he's already back to his active self! Yeah for strong medicine!
