Stryker's class party for Easter
I met Stryker at his classroom at 8:45am & rode the bus to an assisted living facility in Gardendale. Stryker was excited & announced it to all of his friends that his mom was riding beside him on the bus! Hope that feeling never goes away. Before leaving, Stryker's class sang Happy Birthday to Mrs. Kay, the director. Happy Birthday, Mrs. Kay!! Thank you for all that you do.
The 2 kindergarten classes were separated to hunt Easter eggs throughout the facility (> 200 eggs) while the residents observed. It was touching to see the residents get excited & receive handmade Easter cards from the kindergarteners during the egg hunt. After all of the eggs were found, Easter songs were sung to the residents. Giving back to the community is priceless.
I rode beside Stryker on the bus back to school. Party time!!! Coco met us there with LakeLynn. The class sang another 3 Easter songs & then enjoyed all of the yummy snacks.
