Yes, we actually found this off the internet. I figured it would look like it came from the labor & delivery department! Our outpatient therapy gym was completely decorated like a jail. We spent Friday afternoon putting "jail bars" on all the doors & windows by using electrical tape. We had signs on the office doors (i.e. cell block A, death row) & a "booking" sign at our front office window. Our outpatient senior therapist & secretary wore police outfits while the rest of our staff wore convict uniforms. We ordered these official bright orange jumpsuits & spray painted "PT7125" or "OT7125" on the left front chest along with "West Correctional" on the back.
We look like real convicts, scary isn't it? We had several patients that visited us that didn't even have an appointment scheduled! One of our patients printed a picture with these words underneath:
ATTENTION!!
DANGEROUS CRIMINALS HAVE ESCAPED
If you see any of the above escapees, do not try to apprehend them. They are armed and dangerous. They have been known to inflict pain on poor, innocent patients. For the sake of public safety, please call the authorities immediately!
The best thing that we had planned for the day was our "great escape" at lunch. The hospital was serving lunch to the employees on the front lawn. We had someone from purchasing drive us to the front of the hospital in a tan van. She laid on the horn while we all hopped out. We started mingling through the crowd. Everyone was completely surprised & questioning what we were doing. We all had handcuffs on. Johnny came driving down Bessemer Super Highway & stopped near the front. He honked, we took off sprinting to his jeep, & jumped in before he took off around the back of the hospital. Everyone clapped for us. What a great plan!

Monday night was Mt. Vernon's (Stryker's daycare) trunk or treat. Coco, Stryker, Fletch, Logan, & I all enjoyed the many activities with Stryker. Fletch was so proud of Stryker's costume. He wants Stryker to have the same costume next year so that he can dress up as his trainer. Fletch said he would wear a stop watch around his neck, throw a towel over his shoulder, a q-tip behind his ear, & carry a bucket & jump rope. That would have been a perfect idea for this year.
